Supermarkets and Hypermarkets
Full-store refrigeration from the entrance aisle to the back room
Overview
A supermarket runs more refrigeration than any other retail format, and every cabinet sits on the same energy bill. We specify the display runs, service counters, frozen islands and back-room cold rooms together, so the plant is sized once rather than cabinet by cabinet.
Where it is used
Cabinets that lose temperature at peak trading
Pull-down is usually fine when a store is quiet. Problems appear when doors open all day and the ambient climbs. We size evaporators and the remote plant against your design ambient, not a brochure figure.
One failure taking down a whole aisle
Remote circuits are grouped deliberately. We split frozen and chilled across separate suction groups so a single fault does not put an entire frozen aisle at risk.
Restocking that blocks the shop floor
Back-loading cabinets take a full roll container from the rear, so cages never travel down a trading aisle.
